    Construction Manager

    Dale Scott brings over 20 years of experience in residential excavation. His passion for this industry began early in his career, and over the years, he has honed his skills through hands-on experience and continuous learning.

    One of the aspects Dale enjoys most about his work is the opportunity to foster strong relationships with his clients and team members. He believes that communication and collaboration are keys to success in the construction industry.

    In his personal time, he can be found spending quality time with his family and friends. Whether they are sharing a meal, enjoying a weekend golf getaway, or simply relaxing at home, these moments are incredibly important to him.

    Ultimately, Dale's commitment to excellence in excavation and his dedication to building lasting relationships define who he is. Whether it’s tackling a new project or hitting the links, he approaches every challenge with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

  • Janelle Reves

    General Manager

    With over 15 years of experience in Residential Construction Janelle is a dedicated professional who brings a wealth of hands-on knowledge and expertise to her work. She is passionate about creating a collaborative work environment and cultivating strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.

    Her leadership approach prioritizes clear communication, accountability and empowerment. Combined with a direct, detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous learning, she fosters an environment built for success.

    Beyond her professional career Janelle enjoys spending quality time with family, embracing the great outdoors and the value of a work-life balance. She can be seen spending her summers on the North Saskatchewan soaking in the sun and refining her photography skills. Her passion for both connection and adventure reflects her hands-on and energetic approach to life.

  • Scott Thomas

    Scott Thomas

    Construction Manager

    With 16 years of experience in Residential Excavating, including 10 years in a management role, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to help optimize your foundation excavation and backfill processes.

    His leadership style emphasizes clear communication and mentorship promoting a positive work environment.

    Throughout his career, Scott has developed strong problem-solving skills, particularly when faced with unexpected challenges on the job site. Whether it’s managing difficult personalities, dealing with weather related delays or coordinating between multiple trades, He has an inept ability to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

    His hobbies include watching/playing/coaching minor hockey. When not at the rink he can be found on a lake with his family with a hook in the water.

  • Katia Dejardin

    Safety Manager

    Katia is a result-driven, resourceful health, safety and environmental professional with a proven ability to develop and strengthen teams to maximize operational safety and efficiency.

    Adept at establishing sustainable relationships with clients, she is committed to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment, leveraging 13 years of field skills and an additional 15 years of experience in various HSE arenas.

    In her leisure time, when she is not tending to her personal menagerie, Katia enjoys painting landscapes and immersing herself in nature.

  • Chuck Duncan

    Field Supervisor

    With over 14 years of experience in residential earthworks, Chuck Duncan is a seasoned Field Supervisor known for his expertise in managing teams, ensuring on-time delivery, and facilitating efficient communication across all stages of a project. Specializing in residential earthworks, Chuck has worked with some of Edmonton's most prominent home builders, consistently delivering high-quality results in a fast paced environment.

    Chuck values teamwork, safety, and efficiency, and takes pride in building strong client and crew relationships.

    In his off time, he enjoys spending time with his family, mountain biking, snowboarding, and hitting the links for a round of golf. An occasional traveler, he also enjoys exploring new places.

    Chuck is deeply committed to the core values of integrity and outstanding customer service, which are central to his approach to work and his relationships with clients. He is proud to share these values with Unearthed!

  • Scott Hayes

    Managing Partner

    Scott brings over 25 years of experience in residential civil construction, with a proven track record in estimating, project management, human resources, and financial oversight. 

    As a business owner for more than 15 years, Scott has successfully led operations, managed teams, and delivered projects on time and within budget. His expertise spans all phases of construction, from planning and budgeting to execution and client relations.

    In his personal time, Scott enjoys spending time in the mountains skiing, snowmobiling, biking, and golfing.

  • Jaymie Beckett

    Fleet Manager

    Jaymie is a seasoned Journeyman Construction Mechanic with over 15 years of hands-on experience in the industry. 

    Known for exceptional communication and organizational skills, Jaymie consistently ensures projects run smoothly and efficiently. His deep expertise spans construction equipment and transportation systems, making him a trusted resource for complex mechanical challenges.

    Beyond his professional achievements, Jaymie enjoys camping in the great outdoors, attending car shows, and exploring mountains and new travel destinations with his family, a reflection of his adventurous and detail-oriented nature.



  • Craig Meadus

    General Manager, Calgary

    Craig brings more than 20 years of civil construction experience, with a proven record of leadership across organizations such as Lafarge, Pro-Con Road Works, Bluebird Contracting Services, and Aecon Transportation West.

    Throughout his career, Craig has built and led high-performing project and estimating teams, driven growth, and developed reliable processes that deliver consistent results.

    What sets Craig apart is not only his deep roots in the Calgary construction market, but also his passion for building meaningful relationships across the industry. He is committed to balancing operational excellence with exceptional client service: values that align perfectly with UnEarthed’s vision.

    In Craig’s personal time you will likely find him at his cabin in Invermere or at the hockey rink.
